Fouad Samiei (b. 1989, Tehran) is an Iranian composer, musician, and sound designer whose artistic language merges Persian classical traditions with cinematic composition.
Starting with tombak as a child and later studying the tar under prominent masters such as Ali Ghamsari and Hamidreza Khabbazi, Fouad pursued his passion for composition alongside his academic degree in Industrial Management. He trained in film scoring and harmony under Kiawasch Saheb Nassagh and Sasan Mohabbi between 2010 and 2018.
Fouad’s music spans film, television, and the performing arts. His original works include Incomplete Insanity (2019) and Whisper of the String, released in collaboration with Tunitmusic.
His score for the feature film Melody earned him Best Film Score Awards at both the Madrid International Film Festival and the Izmir Film Festival.
In June 2025, Fouad performed with the Holland Royal Orchestra in the Netherlands, interpreting works by Golfam Khayam on oud.
